Auditing Provider Activity

Security Log Report

This report will show all the demographic files that have been opened and everything that was modified by a specific Provider within a given date parameter.

 

  1. From Oscar’s main menu, click on Administration.
  2. From the menu on the left, click System Reports to expand.
  3. Click Security Log Report
  4. From the Log Admin Report window:
    1. from the Provider drop down, select a provider.
    2. from the Content Type choose:
      1. Admin - to see all provider activity.
      2. Log-in - to see only Oscar log-in times.
    3. set a date range from the Start Date and End Date pop-out calendars.
    4. Click the Run Report button.



Time: the time of Provider action.

Action: is the interaction with the database.  A provider can log-in, add, edit, delete and update.  Each of these actions can be restricted in the security settings.

Content: is the Oscar Module directly related to patient data, that the provider is interacting with.  A provider can also be restricted access to each of these modules.

Keyword: is the id of a specific database entry.  Ie: 10114 would represent the id number of an encounter note entry.

IP: is the internet protocol address of the computer terminal the provider was working from.

Demo: is the demographic ID of the patient file the provider was interacting with.

Data: is the content of the patient file edit, update or addition made by the provider.
